I did a lot of reading about the various social login plugins for WordPress and I'm happy I went with this one:
- One plugin to handle all the various social logins
- Excellent instructions on setting up each social login
- I had one small problem with setting up social logins on the Facebook site, and emailed OneAll support. Claude emailed back within about a minute helping me out, and also updating the instructions to help future users with the same problem I had. Excellent prompt service for a free plugin.
Thanks for a great plugin!
I subscribe to OneAll on 5 August 2014. I set up API and it worked well with social login, but OneAll slowed my website down so badly that i have to delete the plugin. My website speed was 96 and it went down to 62 after OneAll installation. I deleted the plugin from my web admin, the server still keep api.oneall which still slows my site down badly.
So i deleted my account in OneAll and sent a letter to OneAll via contact page to cancel my account but it has been over 10 days, i have not gotten any reply back from them.
I am still finding a way to contact them so i checked the receipt but the invoice from OneAll, did not include their email or phone number of their company. How could you trust a company that not reveal their contact information to paying customers. Now i don't know how to contact them any more since they don't reply my message via the contact page. There is no way i could contact them except writing here.
I cant do anything even if they keep charging me monthly payment.
On our website we started using this plugin, and it was setup and ready within an hour. Please note that I am all but an expert on installing anything, so someone else should be able to install it much faster.
It worked perfectly, but on our registration-page the icons were not properly lined out. I sent an email to the support-desk, and received a reply within an hour which solved the problem.
As far as I know there are no bugs like conflicts with other plugins we use.
I have seen some remarks in other reviews about a limitation of the free package. In my opinion a paid version when using a plugin intensively is reasonable, as the plugin in fact offers a service which brings in money one way or the other.
We rate the plugin at five stars on both service and quality.
I can't believe how much power you get from this one plugin. In just half an hour I enabled facebook and twitter login to my site. Very impressed, and very grateful.
Update: I just dropped this from five stars. It turns out you are limited to 2,500 users on the free package, but there is nothing in the plugin description or FAQs to suggest plugin users will ever have to pay. It seems that the plugin authors are trying to trap people: once a site is reliant on social logins and registrations using this plugin, and once the site is successful (more than 2,500 users), the trap is sprung, and the user is (practically) forced to pay. If only the plugin was open about their freemium business model, I would put it back up to five stars.
I agree with the other reviewers here. I am OK with paid services having plugins, but that needs to be clearly stated in the description AND on the website. I'd much prefer to pay for a one-time plugin that does the same thing without relying on a third party or limiting the number of users.
Something doesn't seem right with this setup. Authenticating through their website is not a good idea for people with a serious user base.
for now, it is a one. why?
1 - Why for a simple login, I need to create a facebook application on my own?
2 - User limit should be clear in the fron page of this plugin
3 - What data are you keeping in your databases? These should be clear to everyone? comments? just logins attempts?
I have to say this plugin is a great solution to provide a quick and secure access to the the user who come to our sites.
Once you have well configured and installed this plugin, this allow your visitors to access to your web site actually with one single click.
Most of visitors who come to our web sites they generally have an other tab already open in their internet browsers, so they are already have an active login section from several websites like social media or mail services, as google, gmail, yahoo, youtube, facebook, ect...
At the moment they arrive to your site, with one click at login link and Bingo! You got a new user who can become an editor, author, follower or anything you determine in your WordPress dashboard.
So in my experience, this plugin has increase the number of visitors in my websites incredibly and help to grow greatly our websites community of users.
This plugin is the best for a quick access user control and is essential for web sites with a high traffic users who need to login and publish content in our websites.
I was having problems getting e-mail addresses sent to me and I submitted a contact form on the site and not even 30 minutes later had Claude contacted me telling me how to solve my problem. I've never received such great support before! The plugin is also VERY easy to use and so helpful! Right now I have the free plan, but this is definitely a tool I would pay for, and will when my number of users increases.
I've tried a lot of plugins, including Jetpack's comments (which I needed because of the social logins) but none compares to this one. Jectpack had weird issues, like it only only allowed the social login if you didnt have to sign in first, which caused other issues. The other plugins I tried had out of date setup guides. Or they had terrible support.
I'm actually shocked at the level of support - in a good way - you send an email and get reply within minutes. It was daughnting for me to have to setup the each social login, I didnt want to do it, but actually it was pretty easy. Whenever I got stuck, I got an answer from Claud within minutes, with great solutions.
Thank you Claude!!
