Improves your site's page load speed by preventing NextGEN's scripts & css from loading on posts without galleries.
I'm assuming it's due to their major changes of NextGen, but this plugin doesn't remove any backend Scripts/CSS for it at all.
Not working - and even adding addition weight / load time in some cases.
NextGEN Gallery Optimizer actually degrades the performance of NextGEN, trying to con you into paying for basic functions that you can use only if you don't have the additional parasitic plugin.
It also wrecks the appearance of the default NextGEN gallery.
This plugin is garbage. Especially since I paid 15 dollars for the "premium" version. There is no difference in site performance, trust me. The only thing this accomplished was removing compatibility with mobile users.
I want a refund.
Sorry but your plugin was a pain in my ass.
Never i did a review on anything at wordpress , but this gallery was insta bad for me . I could not even fix this cause source code was messy , anyway if someone can answer , i did a slideshow gallery and wanned to see something like lightbox but instead i saw link preview of images , it's just loading <div> <img> </div> structure via js file and nothing i can do about it.
I'm surprised, given that I had to pay for "Premium" functionality for a plugin that enhances NextGen Gallery (which is free) that it didn't knock my sock off, it didn't even go close, it's rubbish, ugly and doesn't really seem to work that well at all, save your money people.
Amazing, but for plugin with ZERO functionality you require to pay 15$, make donation and to hire the author!
Fancybox even didn't work out of box. But when you turning to display NextGen's "view as Slideshow" the notification appears, on your website without slideshow, that you should pay for that functionality.
Stupid plugin, totally useless.
It was free but now you have to pay. A donation is voluntary, a payment is mandatory. If it costs $15 now to use this plugin please change your wording.
I'd give it 4 or 5 stars if built-in breadcrumb navigation.
As it is, using multi-level albums/galleries, it is just ridiculously painful to let the user know where they are and navigate efficiently.
I even bought the premium optimizer, what a waste.
This would be a useful plugin--I mean, who doesn't want their website to load faster? I downloaded and installed it, and was appalled at the giant Advertisement for the author and his services in the Admin area (about 2x the fold of the screen).
#1. Buy Premium Plugin--you get so much more!
#2. Donate to the project
#3. Hire me to develop your site
I typically donate to plugins that are making me money, adding value to my clients, and saving me time--it is simply good karma and an investment in my business future. But, there is no way I could leave a client with 1200 pixels of advertisements in their admin area. It simply looks shoddy and unprofessional.
That being said, the plugin wasn't installed long enough to test the functionality. I'll have to find another plugin or write my own.
