This plugin allows you to import Movable Type backups. It reads the backup XML and creates the correct objects and relations in your WordPress Blog.

1) MT backup file had some non ascii characters. Previous support post solved]
2) My host wouldn't let me increase the php timeout. Running the import multiple times worked fine (the items already imported were skipped)
