Great plugin to control visual "block-content"
By , for WP 3.5.1

First I tried http://www.woothemes.com/woosidebars/, but that plugin only controls the widget. This plugin controls the actual content-blocks.

Feature requests/possible enhancements:

  • A nice addition to content assignment for menu-items would be a checkbox for 'Also on child items'. (If the webmaster decides to create new submenu pages, the content-blocks will automatically remain intact. For Joomla, this extension http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/advancedmodulemanager has this feature)
  • On wp-admin>module positions>content: give hint to user that content ordering is possible under: wp-admin>module positions>module positions>drop-out arrow icon. (It took me a while to discover ordering of module content)
  • On wp-admin>module positions>module positions: change title 'add new module position' to 'add new module position/change order content' to clarify
