The Menu Swapper allows you to register custom theme locations and easily swap menus on individual Pages or Posts, all through the WordPress Admin Pan
Totally cool!! I was wondering if I can get two MenuSwapper boxes on the 'Make new Post Page'. That way I can have a different Top menu bar and a Different footer menu for any page or post.
Thanks anyway. Absolutely great!
somehow this plugin affecting to the category pages, its omitting the menu on the category page, can you please assist me how to retrieve the menu on the category pages.
This plugin is a little odd at first but once you understand how it works it works great.
This plugin was just what I was looking for. I don't have to knowledge to go into the backend as much as I wanted to to achieve the same thing, but Menu Swapper worked great for me (currently on 3.8.1)
The video was extremely helpful as well.
I registered here just to review this plugin. Its just awesome. A client of mine wanted to display different menus on every page and i was stuck doing all the coding but this plugin came for rescue and I could satisfy the needs with ease.
Very simple. Create your custom menu location. Apply a menu to that custom theme location. Drop down select the menu swapping on a per page basis.
This works great and is really useful, but as a suggestion, can you make the selection fields empty by default so trivial updates to a post/page don't result in unexpected menu swaps?
For a project I was looking for a way to show for each of the sites areas only the relevant menu items. After following the excellent tutorial it had been easy to accomplish with the Menu Swapper. An awesome and uber good plugin.
