Enhances the Media Library; powerful [mla_gallery], taxonomy support, IPTC/EXIF/PDF processing, bulk/quick edit actions and where-used reporting.
Delivers. This should be part of the wordpress core 100%
Im not much good in php, but I like clear code (because im not able create clear code by myself :D) and this plugin use clear code as it can be done.
What Im pricing is compatibility and maybe transparency with gallery code of WP itself.
Even at least the same is great the level of support.
Generally, if WP is opensource and it is still in development, here, in this plugin is captured a future code for basic, new generation of gallery management in WP. Thats my opinion.
I dont know if plugin have more chances to be gainful than contributing on wp directly but, if developer David Lingren would be honnered its first plugin I used, which so naturally fits into WordPress. :)
With attachments spreading around post types, an ever growing media uploads, this plugin is essential to keep things tidy.
Having trouble getting started. Any tutorials anywhere?
I don't need tenth of the plugin's features. But the media gallery search finally works!
I love the customization options in this, and the fact that it works with (almost) any other gallery plugin seamlessly is excellent. This is functionality WordPress needs built in!
Got the tags and copyright data from the files directly into wordpress media library! That's great!!!
This plugin is amazing. Before I finally found it I had tried out combinations of at least a dozen media managment plugins - plugins to add pagination, custom fields, organization, etc. This one does it all, and provides a time-saving, easy to use, batch edit media managment system. Once your galleries are created using the proper shortcode parameters, you'll never have to edit your gallery pages again! Not to mention the documentation is very thorough and actually makes sense, even if you're a code ignoramous. Added bonus: David's level of support is unreal!
Finally sitting down to get my PDF archive made. Just wanted to show my appreciation of this author's work on this excellent addition to my WordPress and making my project possible.
Great support David added in a feature almost over night that really helped me out :)
