MediaElement.js is an HTML5 video and audio player with Flash fallback and captions. Supports IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome and iPhone, iPad, And
Using it and works well...do audios always autoplay so I have to set that to false?
Simple to use, Works really well.
Today I installed this INCREDIBLY GOOD plugin after updating to 3.5.2. I quickly figured out how to include videos and tested it on IE / FireFox / Chrome and then....
....then I tested it on IOS for the iPhone 5 on Safari and that's when I realized I'm doing something wrong.

I'm down to believing that if I plan to be cross platform, that I'm going to have to re-render all my videos from .wmv to MP4 - is that the only way to be fully compatible with the MAC IOS and Safari?
I checked and Safari - supposedly - is HTML5 compatible.
Any guidance so I can find the error of my ways would be greatly appreciated.
ArgosGP - confused by still happy with this plugin
Finally a player that works!
Works great in all browsers. Thanks for the hard work
Works on all platforms and is easy to use.
This is the best audio and video player I've found for wordpress sites and I use it on all the websites I work on. Using the mejsaudio shortcode is a great way to avoid conflicts with other plugins or built in theme audio players so I highly recommend it and it works great on mobile devices. You can see an example over at
A great little plugin that seems to work really well, but please update the changelog. The last changelog update was back at 2.2.5.
Was looking for something that just works out of the box and it did. Had to use [mejsaudio ] shortcode though.
