MapPress is the most popular and easiest way to create great-looking Google Maps and driving directions in your blog.
Instructions, what instructions??? in serious need of a tidy up!
I installed the plugin onto my site. Created a map for a page. Then created another map on the same page, cut the code from the page and pasted it into a footer text widget.
All is fine and good.
I did the same thing on another site. Everything is ok.
Then all of a sudden it quit working in the footer. I turned all the other plugins off, and it still did not work in the footer. I could not figure out why.
So I deleted the plugin, and deleted the folder from WP via FTP. And then tried to install it again fresh. But the system always recognizes that there were other instances of the maps. New maps start with the number where it left off before the plugin was deleted. I even deleted the post where it was to no avail. And it still does not work in the footer widget.
What the heck is that all about?
I am about to give up on it all together.
