Adds a widget that allows your users to sign up for your MailChimp mailing list.
Needs a shortcode so I can use it properly. No settings at all. I wouldn't bother.
It's really a good plugin and the fact that it vanishes after you've signed up was the deal breaker for me on choosing this plugin. However, I would give it five stars if it were easier to visually modify. There's no sub header. Rather than having the admin enter the error message, write some better error messaging into the widget to validate the names and email address.
Also, your mcapi.class.php file looks like it's for some other project. Maybe not force us to inhale that file if it's not necessary.
Does the trick and offers some nice configuration options out of the box. Also extremely easy to customize under the hood (js/css/etc), if you're up for that sort of thing.
After installing it said fatal error in the backend admin panel. Had to delete plugin through ftp to recover my backend.
it connects to mailchimp, but does not register subscribers
It took all of 30 seconds to set this up and push the widget to my website. Couldn't ask for anything quicker.
Easy to set up and implement. Haven't actually published anything with it yet, though.
After I configure the plugin with the API key and go to test it, it throws an error. When I look at the repository for the plugin, there are people reporting problems including that it doesn't work for over a year. Ugh.
What can I say? It's easy as it can be. Nothing more nothing less. Maby an option to tell if a field is required would be nice.
