LenSlider is a skins based slider/carousel/slideshow plugin with jQuery/CSS3 effects that allows to generate and easy integrate the ones to your site.
I really like the vania skin, which is the reason I gave this plugin a shot - and it looked so much cooler than the premium plugins, however, I ended up just wasting time getting it to work.
It wasn't even uploading images properly and doesn't just read images from the media folders, it wants to copy them when it uses them - which would be fine if it worked, but I just had no joy with it. That said, others have, and I don't want to be too harsh on the guy who developed it, because it's obviously working for some people and it's not like he makes you pay for it either, it's just a shame that it didn't work, and I don't have time to wait a month or so for a support thread to be answered.
Unfortunately, my search continues for one like this, but working.
When I try create a slideshow, it just lists one image under the next.
Brand new install of WordPress 3.5.2 with twentyeleven theme, doesn't save preferences, can't edit an existing slider (defaults to add new) Changing to "Clean Start" theme makes the editing link show up, but still can't save any changes.
Very disappointing when a plugin doesn't work with a brand new install of WordPress. Looks like there are lots of good options if you could ever get it to work.
