Get last X number of posts from a selected RSS feed. Default is last 5 items. Includes shortcode for listing feed items on posts or pages.
I did, however, run into the WordPress date glitch in 3.9.1 when I attempted to use the display date option in the Plugin settings.
Beyond that, it's been decent so far. I wish there was a bit more automation to the styling aspect, as you have to do it all by hand, but if you're looking for a fast 'get it running and make it pretty later' option, this works great.
The documentation seem to have only one shortcode
which shows only the 1 default RSS feed that you setup in settings.
I thought that it would be nice to be more flexible and specify various RSS feeds for different pages.
So I just tried this by chance as the documentation is not clear that this was possible.
I found that the WP built-in RSS feed widget would strip out line breaks of the feed I wanted to include. This presents the feed correctly and is simple to use. Agree documentation needs a bit of work. Settings screen shows all variables for the short code but not the short code itself! I had to hunt for that!
Thanks so much for this plugin that works perfectly. I use it with the shortcode which is very easy to implement.
Had a few issues at first but the developer is very responsive so they where worked out pretty quickly, Thank you!
Easy to use, works like a charm!
I've encountered some issues with RSS feeds that display images, but except for that, I'm really statisfied with the plugin.
Easy to use and implement. Very nice plugin!
A big thank you - pulls in Feedburner feeds beautifully.
Nice way to display external feed on a page. Easy to implement and style. Thank you!
The plugin works and has been very helpful for me; a WP newbie. The documentation is more difficult than the implementation.
