Select different Themes for one or more, or all WordPress Pages, Posts or other non-Admin pages. Or Site Home.
Perhaps in the future.
What a great idea!
What a great job!
Doesn't allow you to assign a theme to a whole blog category. You can either assign a theme to an individual page, or to a URL prefix. It is not possible to assign a theme to a whole blog category without manually applying it to each post.
works fine with my site, i am using it for different theme for pages
Just installed and tested this plugin.
Had no problems with it.
Wanted a different look for posts in the category "news" so set my custom permalinks as: /%category%/%postname%
Then in Settings >> Multiple themes plugin
... under "For An Individual Page, Post or other non-Admin page"
... under "URL of Page, Post, Prefix or other" pasted:
Then in the same field entered:
... and checked the box "Anything that begins with this URL will use this Theme"
Now my "News" category page and all posts in the "News" category have their own distinct theme.
Great work since "Page Theme" plugin does not work with WP 3.5 or above. Awesome!
Exactly what I was looking for and it works! :-)
About using specific templates for specific pages, of course, I'll welcome an update that will take that in account. Meanwhile, your suggestion and explanation (using Test Drive) in the plugin's FAQ, is clear and thorough. It works well.
Thank you very much for this plugin ! (I send small donations one a year to plugins I appreciate. I'll definitely include you next time).
A nice plugin. thank you
This plugin brilliantly fulfills my desire to have 2 themes for my single site at the same time, without having to install wordpress a second time whether in a sub-domain or in a sub-directory. Thanks Jonradio!
