The plugin always trashed my admin interface after connecting it to wordpress.com.
Deleting or renaming the jetpack plugin folder via FTP solved it for me so the backend was back again.
I've tried multiple un- and reinstallations but nothing did it. Too bad!
Site down for two days by trying to add twitter widget.
As the dashboard was down too I could not deactivate the plugin.... Was very painful for 2 days !! Not worth it.
Whenever I connect my blog to wordpress.com using jetpack it distorts my website. My layout, links and posts are all messed up and out of place. As soon as I deactivate jetpack it all works as intended again.
Crashes iOS browsers (at least Safari on different iPhone models).
Seen the report in support forums of different themes. Since they mentioned it probably is the comment form feature, I tried to find a way to switch that off - doesn't seem possible, so I had to switch the whole plugin off. Not nice at all.
The main issue being that it slows my WP blog down to a crawl.
I don't think the makers of Jetpack realize that connecting to WP.com, etc. Opens self hosted WP sites to WP hackers. Since I've activated this thing,... I've had spam comments, admin account hack attempts... frankly it's not worth the headache. DELETED.
When I try to download and activate again, it says that I cant' do that because the plugin already exists. What happen to it?
When i check my ftp folder, the files for jetpack is doesn't exist and gone.
I love Jetpack and use it for daily stats. I worked beautifully until wordpress updated to 3.8.2. Now my Jetpack lite won't work saying that it needs Jetpack. I had Jetpack, but it's not showing up in my plugin list anymore. When I try to download and activate again, it says that I cant' do that because the plugin already exists. So why did it disappear?
I've tried everything , deactivate all my plugins, nothing work I still have this error: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site's XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.the-nappyberry.fr/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show 'XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.' on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.
