Imsanity automatically resizes huge image uploads. Are contributors uploading
Does exactly what it says it does! Thank you!
But watch out. We resized our images to 1024 size and all looked great, but a day later all the images in posts that had 1024 as part of the file name (ex. imagename-1024X660.jpg) were deleted from the server! I don't know if this an automatic WordPress image cleanup routine, but they were GONE. Had to relink to imagename.jpg for all posts.
Resizes enormous images without a hitch, phew! (even with 64Mb php memory)
Thanks for great plugin, Anna will be really happy!
This is a must have for a WordPress developer. Clients tend to upload massive JPGs off their cameras without resizing them first. This plugin makes quick work of those huge files and saves a ton of space on the server.
Recently installed this plugin on nearly all of my clients websites and it's doing a great job. Bulk resized over 600 images on 1 particular website and reduced the total used disk space by about 50%.
Thank you Jason!
Imsanity is extremely well designed and offers a total mix of features and functionality that other plugins don't.
The author also offers amazing support, even when a bleary-eyed techie spends too much time at the keyboard and makes an obvious blunder in getting the (very simple) settings right [ user error ]! :)
Brilliant plugin that re-sizes original images that have been uploaded, reduced the load time on my site massively!
Goooooooooooooooooooooooood , great
I had a client with 100's of enormous images previously uploaded. I was able to recapture tons of disk space with minimal effort!! Thank you!
I have a custom WP 3.6.1 site built on Roots, and the site owner was uploading monster images to his gallery. Installed this plugin and it worked without issue.
Not only does the plugin auto size images upon upload, but it has the ideal amount of controls. Plus, it gives you an option to re-size the existing huge images that were uploaded.
