Sub Post Navigation displays the child-, parent- and sibling elements of hierarchically ordered post types like pages, posts and galleries.
I'm using a very simple wordpress theme on my site that means there's only one widget area. But what to do if I want to have different sidebar menus suitable to the page someone is on? I use this the sub post navigation widget!
Intelligent widget that helps keeping my website clearly structured :)
Dynamic navigation depending on which page is displayed. Great for my page hierarchy!
There are lots of navigation widgets out there. But no of these widgets "thinks" about whether itself to display or not if it's empty.
This one does! It isn't displayed if no subpage exist, so my sidebar keeps clean and smart.
Finally a plug-in (or rather a widget) that implements a child page navigation in the sidebar ONLY when there are child pages!
Does exactly what it should!
Has some really clever features.
The widget will be displayed only if there are child pages. So I don't have an empty widget on my parent sites. Perfect!
Would be great if the plugin did what the screenshot showed, but it's showing many features which are only available in the paid version. I'd buy it, but the purchase page is very confusing and it seems the author doesn't offer plugin updates after 5 days. DAYS! Sheesh.
