The WordPress admin bar will be hidden for all non-admin users.
I think that this plugin doesen't make sense any more. It hides the toolbar when you're directly on the website. But if you are on one of the admin pages ... and when you're logging in you are allready in admin area, then it's not working. This is no wonder. The codex says:
Note: It is no longer possible to hide the Toolbar when viewing the Administration Screens, but users can disable it on the front-end of the site in their Profile screen.
To adjust this beheavior the user should be redirected afer login to the main page otherwise this plugin doesen't make sense.
Thanks so much for this plugin... I didn't want to risk breaking something by adding in snippets of code to the templates, so I'm so glad I found this plugin.
Works exactly as described - removes the WP admin bar at the top of the page for all users except for administrators. Thank you!
Nope! not working at all.
My prior review was mistaken -- problem was caused by a different plugin not this one. Works perfectly!
Works with 3.9
Terence said it all! This works perfect with 3.8 so far.
By the time I found "Hide Admin Bar from Non-Admins" I was pulling out what remains of my hair.
On multi-user site I had tried everything I could think of ~ code snippets, CSS, plugins ~ to stop the toolbar, as they now call it, being shown to every single visitor and wrecking the design of my site, which uses a pull down widget panel for login, how to find us, contact form etc.
But this little beauty, network activated, works perfectly every time.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
