Still not 100%
By , for WP 3.5.1

The plugin itself works great, and produced a decent slideshow, but it bugs and removes the menu, rendering it useless.

Could have been better

It looks like support for this plugin has been dropped, which is unfortunate. It has not been updated in a while and the positioning no longer works properly unless you change either the plugin's code or your template's CSS. Recent questions to the developer have gone unanswered, which contradicts his note stating:

"Especially I am keen to hear about your experience..."

I have sort of made it work, but less experienced users should look elsewhere.

Bug fix for up to v3.5.1 - maybe higher
By , for WP 3.5.1

We used this plugin recently and noticed a white block at the bottom of the pages that was full width & the height of your slideshow. At this time it looks like it has been 7 months since this plugin has had an update. I quickly resolved the problem by placing a line of jQuery at line 97 of header-slideshow.php
echo "<script type='text/javascript'>$('#hdr-slideshow').height('0');</script>";
After the header slideshow is rendered, the unexpected white div in the footer is now told to vanish.

Tested for Opera, Firefox, IE8/9, Chrome on Windows.

Hopefully this helps someone!

Nice plugin for rotating header images
By , for WP 3.4.2

Very nice plugin. Does what it says, and Apple-based devices will be able to see this, unlike the old abandoned flashfader.

Needs some more attention though. Would like to see a setting that lets you control how fast or slow the slideshow loads the next image. As it stands right now, there isn't any, and the images cycle way too fast in my opinion.

Looking forward to the next update!
