Add directory capabilities and other functionality to the great Gravity Forms plugin.
Must be a addon that come with gravity forms
I started using this Plug-in last month to solve a single need, but as I got playing with it, I've discovered several uses and am starting to see more. Great plug-in - I'll definitely donate to keep it going.
I'm using the updated gravity forms and the latest wordpress installation. This plugin has great options to set and displays exactly how it should.
Overall I like this plugin a lot! I think the developer did a great job in the integration and functionality of the addon to Gravity Forms. My only issue is that I personally do not have the styling expertise to make the output information display exactly as I would like. But that doesn't make it a good plugin to have and use.
Worked great to easily build a directory of attorneys for my firm.
+1 "The Gravity Forms Directory plugin adds an 'essential' piece of functionality."
I just can't say enough good things about this plug in and it's support. I'm so glad I switched from all those "other" forms that always broke and needed constant maintenance.
I use Gravity Forms for all my sites. The Gravity Forms Directory plugin adds an 'essential' piece of functionality.
It allows you to add a listing of your form results in a sortable table. That listing is already filtered if you add a Category field to your Gravity Form. Only the results from a particular form will display in the table.
A very important feature of the Directory plugin is that it allows a logged-in user to edit his/her posts directly from the listing table. Picture the listing in a page in a private member area of a site. You also can set a parameter that the user can only see his/her own listing.
Logged-in Users/Members of a site can complete front facing forms, then, after a higher level editor publishes the posts created by the forms, the Member can go to the listing page and edit.
Like most plugin developer's, Katz Web Services has his hands full responding to requests for this essential plugin to do more.
I will add my request to the list! Let Authors and Contributors edit their posts from the listing. Currently, only Users with the role of Editor are allowed to edit. This would give another layer of 'member' roles for a site.
Thank you Katz Web Services for all the hard work and ingenuity on this essential plugin.
I recently made an additional donation to the developer to continue his work. If you use this plugin, I urge you to do the same.
