But it looks like the Google Client library in use is a little old and it can conflict with the same library in other plugins. For example Google Apps Login plugin had to rename their Google Client library to fix a bug caused by the conflict with this plugin.
I've only just moved to Analyticator from the Yoast plugin, but it has a 'must have' feature: it supports analytics.js
Universal Analytics is clearly the future of GA and so I'm really glad to be able to make the move.
I liked very much, very comfortable to see the traffic from my dashboard. But since 2 weeks it has stopped working. I tried to reset the plugin to authenticate through Google, but still didn't work.
I hope it will be fixed soon!
Straightforward to implement. Except:
On the Google Analytics side, if you already have an account you need to first create a new account UNDER that, for the new website. (No need to do anything with the JS script it provides.)
Then when you activate this plugin, that will show up in the UID drop-down list that you select - and the JS above will automatically taken up by this plugin. Hey presto.
THIS WOULD BE USEFUL TO NOTE - somewhere on the plugin page (apologies if it is and I missed it...)
This is a good plug-in, unfortunately it doesn't shows today, yesterday, etc statistics. Instead of that it shows a chart, we can't check that chart statistics. Moreover we can't customize the dashboard widget, it shows, top referral, top posts etc we can't remove them.
Conclusion:- There's no way to customize the widget as we want.
Thanks for this nice widget, it's not a bad one. 4 starts.
Below is my previous review of this plugin (or which I rated it one star). Within days the plugin author updated the plugin and it now seems to be running much, much better. The dashboard widget's still a little slow to load, but there's been a huge improvement.
Thanks for great support!
This used to be a fantastic plugin as it allowed me (and my clients) to see a snap-shot of their websites' Analytics within their WP dashboard. They still can, but the problem is that to load them it's a very server-sensitive process, and it takes around 15-20+ seconds to load.
If I were rating this plugin about 6 months ago, I'd have given it 5 stars without question, but unfortunately I can only rate it on how the plugin performs today, and that, unfortunately, is "poor". Sorry
