Quickly and easily build forms with a simple drag-and-drop interface and in-place editing.
Developer version is worth every penny. This is one of the plugins I use on pretty much every one of the sites I administer. It's super easy for end users to manage forms, and provides pretty much every option you can imagine for online forms processing.
This is a fantastic plugin.
I was looking for a form management plugin and as many have came across Gravity Forms first. After having played with GravityForms for a bit I was surprised when I found out that it did not allow for the front-end editing of submissions.
I looked at a range of alternatives on code canyon.com but eventually settled on FormidablePro.
FormidablePro offers front-end editing, it works with custom post types and the support is fantastic. I am completely amazed at how the small team at Formidable Pro spend so much time assisting their users, even looking at the code and helping to identify errors.
Anyway, great plugin and amazing service.
I love this plugin, purchased the pro version after a very short time of using the free version. Lifetime updates and nice and cheap!
Does some really sophisticated stuff really easily and stores everything to the database for export, exactly what I was looking for.
Doesn't have the fancy marketing campaign Gravity Forms has, but then it's a fraction of the price for the majority of the functionality.
Though not quite as user friendly in the conditional logic department it is much cheaper and integrates with the site much better than just embedding an adobe form. Also since a number of "i" devices have had trouble with adobe forms it will be interesting to see if this allows a greater number of users access to our forms.
I needed some support on a format issue and the response from email was quick, solved my problem AND even solved another problem I didn't have since they looked at my form before answering and saw something else I needed help on. I wouldn't have had the issue at all with Adobe but then again I was paying 10x as much for something that didn't work on all devices. I feel Formidable was an upgrade.
I have been searching for several years for a plugin that enabled WordPress to be used to create, store and display customer data. There were a few solutions that did part of the job, but none that got it done completely.
Then I find Formidable Forms and I hit the jackpot!
This plugin not only provides simple forms (as do many other plugins), but it adds the ability to store the data they collect; edit it; import/export it; display it in WP posts/pages/widgets; show statistics for it and much more.
So at a stroke, by using FF you can use it to turn WP into a sophisticated data entry and reporting system, without being a database expert.
I've purchased FF Pro and I've been very impressed with its functionality, documentation and usability.
I can't recommend this plugin enough - congratulations to the developers (Stephanie & Steve) on a magnificent achievement.
I've been using FP for about 18 months and it is part of every site I build. The plugin has so many features that I'm still finding new ways to use it. Very solid and dependable too. My clients love it too.
Keep up the good work guys!
I use the free version all the time. You don't need the purchased version to customize the form how you want it. Here are some things for customization that I found and that I use every time.
Edit the plug in formidable/css/frm_display.css
add the follwing code to change the font color and style of the labels
you can use any color but for me since I have a light grey background I had to use a dark grey for the labels to see them better.
Also you can add table coding under the formidable / settings / customize HTML.
I added the following in the first box
<table width="700" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border:none"><tr><td style="border:none">
and in each box after that just make sure you end with the usual tags to get the structure you are looking for.
Love this plugin.
The most advanced, comprehensive forms plugin available for WordPress.
Get this plugin if you plan to integrate medium-complex level forms, or you are unsure of what your forms requirements may be in the future as it will handle any future requirements with ease.
The advanced nature of this plugin is not immediately apparent until you start using it - very extensible, and the support team always respond To questions within a few hrs.
I have been using this plugin for 2 years now and it still surprises me on what I can achieve with it. Advanced customisation requires a mid-level WordPress programming experience, though there are plenty of examples and help available within their support network if you get stuck.
Completely customisable via CSS and custom HTML. Multi-column layouts and sliding panels. Free addons for registered users include Paypal checkout, mailchimp intragation, and automatic Post and Taxonomy creation.
The only negative is no Ajax support, though this is supposed to be coming soon.
I worked with WordPress as a web designer for years, and this is the first truly professional, intuitive and flexible solution for a whole myriad of every-day needs I found (and I tried pretty much all).
In addition to being an excellent form maker, Formidable is an amazing front-end solution. I can finally set up usable front-end entry/edit pages fast and easily. Templates for entry displays are easily created and assigned, and there's a great shortcode interface, including conditionals. Adding the ability to work with native WP fields was a stroke of genius, as well as the ability to assign a Formidable custom field to standard WP meta data, making it ultimately usable with other WP features & plugin. This is my must-have plugin.
Support has been stellar, as well.
