I played around with various themes and configurations until I got my site to display as I wanted but in the process too many copies of images were created

I think it's really weird that WordPress creates resized copies of uploaded images (especially when it does so in the same folder as the original and not some separate "cache" folder), but this plugin has allowed me to at least get rid of the images which are no longer in any use.

I have found that this plugin works more efficiently than the original, faster, even though it has the added task of deleted images.

I was kind of put off by some reports in the support section about errors, but I am happy I gave this plugin a try, because it works like a charm in my server and has added functionality that I really needed.

So congratulations and I hope it is kept active as WP also progresses

I installed this plugin on a WP 3.5 multi-site environment. Everything is working correctly. Thank you for this simple but very useful tool.

It does exactly what it says - and fast!
