The plugin is targeted at developers and does its job really well!
I have a feeling that those who are voting it down have failed to read the description and are not comfortable with the implementation steps.
It has allowed me to create a simple slider for websites that I'm building.

Nice plugin
There should be a chance to specify the behaviour of the slideshow in admin area (not speaking of flexslider setings, but for example a selection for show/noshow the title and excerpt of a slide)
Works like a charm!
