An advanced posts display widget with many options. Display posts in your sidebars any way you'd like!
This plugin saves me a lot of time when designing sites as it gives all the setting I need to create some nicely designed pages. I have yet to "hit the wall", which is what I call it when you want a plugin to do X and it doesn't.
I just updated one client's website to 3.9 and everything worked just as I designed it.
One thing I think needs to be improved are the instructions on where to put your custom templates as I was confused by how the installations instructions are worded. If you are confused about this, here is how you do it... In your theme folder (hopefully you are using a child theme) you create a new folder called "flexible-posts-widget", and you put your custom templates directly into that folder.
The ability to use different templates for each instance of the widget is just fantastic! Just what I needed.
Installed your plugin and with some knowledge( basically to know how to copy and paste some wp hooks, and to wrap them in some css classes) it proves to be indeed very flexible. :)
Great plugin, but no option to show post date, or other meta.
Works great. Excellent work. well done, and thanks!
Going to be one of my standard plugin installs.
I like yhis plugin.
The developer is very cool and aswer the questions quickly.
I just think that is missing in this plugin the option to open the links in new window (It´s basic!)
That´s what i gave 4 stars.
When it´s done, i´ll put another review with 5 stars :)
Just perfect :) Easy to use, configure and extend. Author is very active and help everybody in the support section. Such a same that didn't to this plugin earlier. Keep up the good work.
Enfin un plugin qui permet de travailler avec les custom post types et les taxonomies.
Exactly the plugin I was looking for. I love the thumbnail size feature--I searched for something that would show full-width featured images for my posts in the sidebar, and this one does the trick.
Only downside, I wish I could set a vertical height for my images. They're all different heights, so it looks a little off.
