Simply the best of what I have seen

I tried many ticker and scrolling news plugins. This is simply the best of them. It's simple, customizable, and rich-featured. Also I managed to make it work in a single site for both RTL and LTR with a bit of css code added to to the style.css and rtl.css of the theme. Also don't forget that it's totally free, while some of the plugins I met were very poor while the PRO version doesn't seem to come near this. Thanks for the author.

Why to create a plugin for old versions?

It seems to be a nice friendly useful plugin.
When shall it be updated?
I don't see any point to release plugins for old versions...
