This might either be the best (if you know exactly how to handle it, which I don't) or the worst plugin of all times. The installation procedure is horrible. And the instructions are even more confusing. One would think that the developer is either a sadist or the most inept work-flow designer in the world.

The user should not be forced to wade through this horrible procedure. So I'm putting this app in an early grave.

Absolutely abominable. Don't know if it's the OpenGraph that's crap, though it's easy to believe that seeing how you have practically eliminated apps like Social RSS from being fully functional for WordPress powered sites.

This should not even be allowed in the repository. Waste of time. Convoluted settings, practically impossible to setup unless you happen to be tech savy, particularly FB tech savy.

Finally, if you've been patient enough to sit through a couple of hours of pure frustration with some internet guides trying to to their best to help you with this piece of crap, there appear to be constant issues with publishing.

Ridiculous requirements for fanpage naming in reference to the app name.

Tags, images, pulled wrong from websites, at random it seems, being in no way associated with the post that is being published.

And last but not least, it does not show up in the Plugins list in WP admin, so can't delete it unless you have access to your site's ftp.

'Make your WordPress site social in a couple of clicks, powered by Facebook' - the description should be taken off, it's straight face lying. You can't even uninstall it with a couple of click, let alone set it up.

Total garbage.

Very disappointing as I have tried and tried and could never get the social publishing feature to work. This is such a waste of time! I could have given it a zero star if I had the option.

I'm using v1.1.10 and I found it awkward to set up. It shouldn't be this hard. I did get it up and running and it does work very well although one big issue I see is that I'm using it for my blog and a fanpage, not my own actual page.

Something very obvious is missing, there is no like box option. I want to give me readers the option of liking my fanpage not just following my personal page.

I'll have to code it in myself.

It does take a little bit of time to set up. First you have to create a new app at https://developers.facebook.com/ and then configure it, which was pretty much self-explanatory even for a non-developer like myself, then you set up the plugin, which is fairly simple to do.

At first I thought the Like Box wasn't included but it is included as a widget which can be found in Appearance > Widgets. There are a few other widgets from FB too.

Assuming I didn't make a mistake when creating the app, it is buggy.

In the settings, when I choose where I want a button to display e.g. pages, posts, etc, then I save the settings, I have to choose and save again because the plugin clears my choice.

A similar thing happens when I try to set a valid FB page URL for the Like Box and Follow Button widgets. When I save, the URL doesn't get saved, resulting in the Like Box not displaying.

I have tried this with all other plugins disabled, and it's still not working as intended.

Spent quite a long time wondering how to use this and the widgets but finally got it working. I like the result a lot.

I've been using this for a while, and the last couple of months, the plugin has failed me...

The social publisher function is the one i need the most, and it doesn't work!
In the latest version i can't even see it when i go to the plugin settings, the "Social Publisher" is simple not there!

And when i has it set up, it would not post to my facebook application. i was lucky to get it to do it once when i redid all the settings in the plugin, but after that it failed again.

Another thing that could be very useful, is the ability to get notified when a user has commented on a post on wordpress, it could be done via email or even facebook notifications.

Disappointing.
I can really user only follow button. The most wanted feature "Mention" is completely unusable.
Collaboration of Facebook and WordPress produces worse plugin than other available. OMG!

Set up is not really simple ... but that's okay. It is doable and once it's set up it should work ...

But it doesn't. The plugin is currently not completely working with WordPress. And as is typical from some software developers ... there is very little communication from them and we as users have no idea if they are working on it, ignoring it, or even if they are aware of problems.

I will give it an average rating because in general, most of the features are working. ONE very important feature is not working right now and that is the box that show's your facebook feed on your website. I am very annoyed that this is not working, since this is the feature my CLIENT most wants.
