Simply buggy plugin

Installation ok.
When I click on Events to add a new event, I get the following error in wordpress:
Fatal error: Class 'DateTime' not found in /mnt/105/sda/1/a/siteURL/wp-content/plugins/event-organiser/includes/event-organiser-archives.php on line 65
