A better management for WordPress Media Library
I've tried a number of media category tools and this one is fantastic - I like how it keeps post categories separate from media categories because once you mix them in together, things get messy for the authors.
The only thing I would need to make this perfect is ability to do bulk updates (add category and remove category) as I have existing sites that have 300+ media files that would need to be individually opened/modified/saved.
I would be willing to pay a plugin fee for a premium version of this plugin with that functionality (CodeCanyon for example) - hint hint!
Love this plugin.
Just needs one thing....
The ability to restrict mime types per user role.
The Admin should be able to upload ALL mime type, while certain mime types should be restricted to Authors and Editors.
Please consider in next update.
PS - All the best to your health
This plugin makes handling media a breeze. Certain fields require images of specific sizes and this plugin makes it incredibly simple to categorise those sizes, and then find them later on.
Would recommend to any WordPress user.
I have a lot of different documents and image types so having the ability to filter by MIME type is fabulous to find what I want easily.
I looked at all the image library plugin options and this one took less overhead and did everything I needed it to do. I'd love to see a "Quick Edit" option for bulk adding of tags on the main Media Library page, but this is a great start!
Muito bom cumpre o que promete e ainda da para você personaliza os nomes para deixa-lo como você quer ver va-le a pena usa-lo nota 1.000
Once the bulk edit is working, it will get 5 stars!
I need to be able to put my images into "folders". This does it without having to do any FTP or file changes. Perfect.
Agree with many other reviewers. This is a smart, well-engineered plugin that introduces functionality that should be included in WordPress core. However, if you upload hundreds of photos to your media library, you currently have to edit each photo individually to connect it to taxonomy terms. That is completely impractical and the only reason this plugin gets only 4 out of 5 stars.
I took it upon myself to create a plugin that adds a bulk update feature for my own projects. I couldn't justify discarding EML, which I otherwise love, solely due to this missing functionality. You're welcome to download it, and use it. It'll get the job done, but I don't intend to support it. So when Enhanced Media Library includes bulk update functionality in the future, I recommend abandoning my band-aid solution and supporting EML.

As the title says. It's a great little plugin which solves a problem and fills a void. But I can have a great taxonomy, without a decent way to connect media to it it's usable, but the big promise can not be fulfilled.
Especially to cooperation with photopress-gallery which enables galleries filled by taxonomy.. Oh well. maybe one day (especially as the batch option is already "real soon" for half a year or smt.
