The best WordPress gallery plugin enables you to create photo gallery or portfolio. Over 256,500+ sites are already using Easy Media Gallery.
Ok, I was a little doubtfull about this plugin as when I installed it it was buggy. Well, it was due to a plugin conflict with WPML, fixed within two hours by the support team after I sent them a mail (on sunday 0_°).
Maybe because I'm on pro version, I don't know, but great job !
$24 is nothing for a great plugin with this kind of support. I had an issue and they fixed it. Then sent me a screenshot to help me understand what happened. Amazing.
Seems very professional and well built.
No issues at all. Just install, watch their 90-second vid and you're away.
I have just upgraded to the current version of Easy-Media-Gallery. While I normally have no problem bringing my WordPress Plug-ins up to date, I was a little pressed for time today.
The good folks at Ghozy Labs were on to it in a flash and had me up and going within minutes.
Great software and excellent, friendly help.
I've been holding back on this review until the support team got back to me. Now they have, I can give a full account.
I tried out the free version which seemed to do as I wanted, so I then upgraded to the pro version, which announces more features, and more importantly for what I needed, multiple pictures within a grid gallery.
I had nothing but problems with this new version, Ghozi Labs saying that I must deactivate one of my paying clients' favourite features for their gallery to work.
When I announced that this was impossible, they said that there was a 'work around' if I were to grant admin access to my website.
After noticing that they had indeed logged in and nothing had been done, I revoked the account after their office closing hours and wrote to them again today, saying that as a work-around had not been found, could I have a refund?
I received the following reply:
"This issue because the following conflict:
conflict with your theme where it load jQuery script outside from wordpress.
jQuery library and its not recommended by wordpress.
With details above, we cannot refund your money."
So from that, we can see that even though the free version worked fine, an upgrade to the paid version will quite possibly leave you with a piece of junk if you have any other plugins installed.
Hey, I'm not devastated at losing $24 to Ghozi Labs, but I just thought that people should be made aware of the type of company that they might end up dealing with.
Easy as it claims and lets you create a really nice photo galary, it was perfect for my needs and had everything I needed in the free version.
I don't often write reviews, but on this occasion, especially as there are a few negative comments, I feel i must. This plug-in is terrific, and the support is the best I have come across.
Yes, the free one is limited, but the pro version is only $24 and is full of options. I needed help customising it to my needs, and got replies to an email within 15 mins in the first case and an hour in the second.
The plugin is easy to use, with a nice backend and a clean implementation.
The free version is so limited that it's not worth the time, in my opinion. The pro version on that other hand is pretty good, but totally ruined by the support. I got rid of this in a day.
Wretched UI, feeble documentation and broken English keep this plugin from having ten times more users than it has.
If you can get past that, and if you can spare $24, you'll have one of the finest two or three WordPress popup galleries around. I think it's the best, and I looked at them all. I installed and uninstalled them for days before testing this one. I spent half a day with it today, learning what it does and how it does it, and it's working smoothly now.
I would like to see it handle YouTube playlists a bit better than it does. I would like to see it make a little more effort to find my video file. But I can work around these things. Overall, it does what I want it to do.
I was having a problem with this plugin implementation. The problem was in my inbuilt GoDaddy WordPress installation configuration.
- Initially the plugin admin area was not showing images. The support team helped instantly.
- Then the images came but the plugin failed to display results. Again they helped me out to change my hosting configurations. Again it worked!!
-Then my website started displaying wrongly, the gallery. They helped me again !!
All through a span of around 14 hours. The support team was always replying and always giving me solutions.
This is the best plugin support I ever had! I recommend this fully !
really awesome !
