This is one of the best thought-through WordPress plugins I've used. Thank you Pippin and I'm coming to buy modules from you..

I like the simplicity of the functionality that this plugin provides yet it's so powerful. It is fairy easy to set up and it doesn't require to install a theme for it. Just amazing.

Pippin addressed all of the issues and Easy Digital Downloads now works perfectly. Highly recommend!

Simple, well-conceived and easy to use, BUT EDD permission and communication problems with payment processors render it useless.

The plugin is free, but priority support is paid for. However, even after purchasing support I have had no resolution - in fact, no response to my support query in 48 hours - and it appears I am not the only one.

To be fair, it looks like Pippin may be in the midst of dealing with rapid growth that is hard to handle. Regardless, it remains that EDD does not perform as advertised at this time. I hope to see this corrected in the near future.

Works very well, with basic but usefull options. Great plugin.

Thank you, thank you for making digital download sales so easy. The functionality, usage and support of the plugin has made my life and end users much easier.

Easy Digital Downloads has slammed it's stake in the ground as a stellar platform with which to build amazing ecommerce implementations. It doesn't handle physical products and it doesn't want to. So much ecommerce is focused in the digital space and it's hard to do right, so EDD took the ball and ran with it. Not only is the core plugin fantastic, the always expanding number of add-on plugins are equally great. EDD is at the top of my list when I'm working with a client that needs to sell digital goods.

I can only agree with the host of other users and reviewers here about this plugin: top-notch!

Pippin has created an awesome tool for our beloved WordPress and it's becoming more of an ecosystem already.

From my international point of view I can say that Pippin is very much supportive and developer-friendly for the needs of international users, regarding internationalization and such things. He's so open and friendly that it is a pleasure to work with such a developer. All my suggestions for i18n have been approved - I can only say this of few plugin creators that are so open!

The plugin is very much like WordPress itself: modular and ready for customization via Action Hooks & Filters! I really like to work with it.

I also love about EDD that it has minimal style rules applied to the templates/shortcodes etc. This makes it very easy for integrating in every (well-coded) theme/framework.

I like EDD so much that already released three little free add-on plugins for that: maybe with more to come very soon :-)

Verdict: I recommend this plugin to everyone who wants to sell digital goods via WordPress. It makes all things really easy!

P.S. With the planned addition of taxes into the plugin it will likely to see much more usage in Europe, so to speak of Germany and other European Union countries. Go, Pippin, go! :)

We've been using Easy Digital Downloads to sell themes on Captain Theme since we started, and actually have nothing but good things to say about it.

The combination of an extremely well-coded plugin (EDD), extensive documentation, consistent support and a growing community of developers extending it, makes Easy Digital Downloads by far the best option for those looks to sell digital products.

As Devin said, the Software Licensing add-on is just awesome and works perfectly. A must-have for anyone in the WordPress industry.

Been searching for years to not have a paid service to do this for me and finally found it. Don't know why it took so long, but everything works great for what I need in a small business. Thank you and for your support.
