Duplicate, clone, backup, move and transfer an entire site from one location to another.
Backup buddy can claim to do wonders in terms of back up but this is the only tool I need to migrate, back up my websites and my clients.
With this plugin the migration is very easy and simple.
Im user of wordpress since 2010, I make a lot of webs with this CMS and a lot of plugins. This is my first review, Im very happy about how it works, easy and fast! Thank you very much.
The developerσ is is clever.
You Create something amazing and i don't have donate anything else here.
I think this is my first donate.
Tried other cloning plugins with no success and also the wp codex method. This plugin worked seamlessly after I filtered out the uploads (large) folder. The method is so simple - compile the package (keep it well under 50Mb!) and installer, new empty hosting root/dir, ftp both in there, new empty database and run installer.php by browsingthe site url/installer.php, And off it goes. Just make sure the installer db name/user/pw fields are correct. Manually copy over any sub dirs to WP-content (ie the large Uploads sub dirs) using filezilla or Plesk / cPanel file utilities. Any issues suggest do it all again, fresh empty db and make sure the domain/sub domain is pointing at the hosting root/dir. (easy in Plesk)
never failed! it's a must plugin for every wordpress blogger!!
I have used this move back and forth between local site (WAMP) and production + test sites.
It has never failed and is simple and intuitive to use
Thank you to the Author
Quick and quite easy-to-use if you have some technological knowledge. I tried 2 others and this is the only one that worked as advertised and kept my pages intact (no 404 errors). Great.
easly and good tranfer site from one host to another!
I have used this many times to duplicate and download a live site for debugging and experimenting on my laptop, as well as building a local site then uploading it to the live server. This makes those processes much simpler and quicker. Thanks for a great plugin!
