Download Monitor is a plugin for uploading and managing downloads, tracking downloads, and displaying links.
Garbage ... are not working in version 3.9.1. A lack of respect for users spend so much time on a project with a tool that trash does not work. That same garbage .... Detroit community the lack of competence on leave without humiliating work ...
Gives error: "No file paths defined" - does not work for WP version 3.9.1
New update is only for make money, on my opinion this is bad
This plugin is an excellent one if you are starting a new WP site. But those who are using it for years and had hundreds of downloads with the old version of the same plugin, this new version is really a frustration. Whats the point of this rewrite if there is no support or compatibility for the older downloads published with the same plugin.
I have imported in new version the old downloads but the id is changed and i have 592 download now how to change 592 link??????
PLS make import with same ID
OLD ID: 519 new ID 10234 WTF WTF
Tried right now and it's not good at all. When I upload something I don't get any download link???
Also it's super slow. I want my old Simple Download Monitor back which was much better.
This plugin seems simple, download and input the shortcode, but it's not working. No zip file arrives in full. In addition there is no tutorial on this version 1.3.1.

u will dont more spam with crap plugins wordpress directory
With WP 3.6 the old plugin stopped working for me.
I found out that the self described "abandoned" plug in was not really abandoned, but packaged in a newer version.
Now, besides the new version did not work (with other errors than the old), I found quite debatable the idea to strip down a main feature (the downloads central page) and make it payware.
Had it been payware since the beginning, I'd probably bought it. But to strip down functionality after having grinded enough installation base is a street smarts marketeer move. Going to dump this and install another plug in.
I tried download a file several times, from different IP-adresses. No statistics at all.
I give it 1 star since this was the main reason for trying the plugin. Otherwise it works, the download counter for example. Did not try it out too much though.
