Download Monitor is a plugin for uploading and managing downloads, tracking downloads, and displaying links.
I've been a fan of the original Download Monitor for a number of years. It's been a great plugin for managing and controlling downloads.
While I miss the old method for creating templates, I like the ability to completely control what the downloads look like, including the main download pages.
Thumbs up, too, for putting it on GitHub.
I'm running a web-site that allows users to download (for free!!!) Modern First Folio versions of Shakespare's plays.
For this I need a competent download manager with good facilities to monitor and manage the downloads.
Download Monitor meets my needs.
Best User Interface. Best Functionality. Best Download Management. Get this add-on http://mikejolley.com/projects/download-monitor/add-ons/page-addon/ and you're laughing! All of Mike Jolley's plugins rock.
Thank you Mike for a very cool update. Its now so much of a pleasure to get my downloads organized and offer it as i choose. I offer some on direct download and some via email link. I particularly like the categories and the url toggle in the add download window. :) nice one.
Keep up the good work.
Thank u MJ for this nice and free plugin. Best DL-Plugin for WP!
This is one of the best plugins to manage download files in your blog, if not the best one. I have been using the legacy version of Download Monitor until the author released the new version. Fortunately I was able to import all the old files seamless and straightforward using the Legacy Importer tool. I appreciate a lot the way to add new download files in the new version (using drag and drop) and on the fly.
This plugin works great. It exceeds all my expectations.
hi i translateی this plugin to persian fa_IR
It's a pity that this plugin is being discontinued! Will be great to move it to a next level and use custom post types to manage downloads. Great plugin anyway!
Great tool for document distribution. Does everything I need. Use a link to Google Drive if you want to save bandwidth.
Thank you MikeJolley, great work.
