Simply hide widgets on specified pages. Adds checkboxes to each widget to either show or hide it on every site page.
Does exactly what it says on the tin! So much easier to use than widget logic! Good skills
I am running WooCommerce with the Peddlar Theme.
I just wanted to have twitter and instagram widgets.
I installed this plug-in, and ticked a few check boxes, VIOLA!
A bit slow to bring up all the options on the widget configuration screen. But other than that works fine.
This is the only plugin I use on all my sites. I've never understood why WP doesn't offer this function itself, it's absolutely essential. The concept of widgets doesn't make sense without the option to assign a widget to a page.
Very nice plugin. Simple, easy and saved the day.
its easy to use... thanks for the great plugin...
I am using Display Widgets with WP 3.9.1, to assist running a bilingual English/French blog with WPML, and it works beautifully.
I am a Joomla based developer and working on some client wordpress pages.
In Joomla you can link modules (widgets) to specific pages by select the menu links in the module options. I miss that feature very hard in WP and this plugins does exactly what I / you(?) need.
After spending several hours trying to solve a problem with Widget Context plugin, someone with a similar problem discovered Display Widgets. I tried it and it instantly solved the problem I was having. Specifically, I wanted to Display Posts based on Categories on the individual web pages set up for each individual category.
