A WordPress plugin to disable your website front-end and display a message to your visitors while still allowing back-end access.
Beautiful. Good to have plugins that do one job and do it so well. Thank you.
It just works as its suppose to.
I wanted a plugin that would let me display a custom one-page homepage on a site while I built the real site in-place in the client's hosting. I was able to copy and paste in the html code for my temp page (no header or body tags), turn it on, and it worked! I set it so that logged-in admins could see the real site, but you can also set it so certain IPs can see the real site, if you want to give the client viewing access without admin access.
Very useful! I love it, and will use it again. Thanks, Jimmy K.!
This is a good, simple and effective tool for anyone wanting to block traffic from a WordPress install unless a user is from a specific location or has a login.
Nice job. Thanks for the plugin.
Does exactly what I needed.
I might like to see the ability to add a "redirect" that would occur after a set period of time, like maybe 5 seconds or so. Just a thought.
We temporarily needed to put a site "offline" but didn't want to delete the site. We're not sure when we'll turn it back on, but this was a nice way to temporarily "turn it off."
... which of course, it should, because I wrote it! :D Heck, I'm using it on my website right now to display a splash page to my visitors while I develop the rest of the site!
