This plugin enables you to edit and display Content Blocks in a sidebar widget or using a shortcode.
I was a bit confused first until I realised it's using custom posts, in this case called 'content blocks'. Works very well. It's supposed to work with WPML, haven't tried that yet but will find out soon enough.
Very good plugin
I love this plugin, I use it on most sites I create as I am able to explain content blocks easier than widgets. I use it for recurring content as well as enabling my clients to update sections of their site in one spot.
Thank you and well done.
Also works well within the gravity forms 'notifications' section.
This is a really great plugin and the author is incredibly responsive to bug fixes. Can't recommend it highly enough.
This plug-in solved a headache nagging me for weeks:
The power to widgetize custom text and images allows display of more than one unique sidebar on the same page--or even more than one custom widget in the same sidebar.
I was a bit leery of "content block" [a new term]. No problem--it's easier done than said. There's nothing TO it, you just DO it!
Many thanks from a delighted fan, Anna
I love this plugin! It makes it so easy to re-use content in various places and makes it easier for non-techies to update. Did I mention I love it?
Simple and work!
The flexibility this plugin offers makes it so easy to achieve things no other plugin can do.
My only niggle is how long it takes to get a support question answered.
For me this helps turn WordPress into a really flexible CMS (not unlike Joomla) if used along with a condition widget plugin, you've have lots of flexibility about where widgets appear and what they contain, in a very user friendly way.
Helped me make a kick-ass theme. THANK YOU!
