Integrate Constant Contact into your website with this full-featured plugin.
This plugin would be a great addition, but seems to have been left in the dust by the developer.
- Forms are loading the whole site into the sidebar
- Events are not refreshing in the admin
- Events are not showing up in the site
NO SUPPORT. I have found thread after thread of people with the same problems I have an no answers!!! Huge disappointment as this would solve many issues I have if it would just work!
Except for the fact that I plugged it in and it played, this plugin has been a nightmare to link with other facets of client websites. True, I linked it with my account, and it took off adding folks to the newsletter. It works. But in a complex production WordPress environment, this plugin just doesn't mesh.
DO NOT USE THIS PLUG IN. WITH NO VALIDATION YOUR CONSTANT CONTACT ACCOUNT WILL GET SPAMMED WHICH WILL QUICKLY COST YOU MONEY AS CONSTANT CONTACT CHARGES FOR SIGNUPS.
Widget says success even without email, it's in support and does not seem to be addressed by the developer. Come on. this is so basic it isn't even funny. Success with no success. I will report to constant contact as well as you are claiming to be official.DO NOT USE THIS PLUG IN.
The plugin has only been running a few days now but I find it very useful and the Form Designer (and default subscribe form) are much nicer than the hideous code that comes as a cut-&-paste snippet from Constant Contact.
I like a lot of the features and the fact that a few base tasks are integrated into my WP Dashboard so that I don't have to constantly navigate over the Constant Contact to check something.
Installed via WordPress and my entire site crashed and had to uninstall the plugin. Very disappointing and now have to hassle with the customer service.
This plugin is very easy to configure and integrates well. Best of all, the developer is very responsive to issues.
Just set it up on my blog. Set up was very quick. I was able to create four separate forms for different lists and get them on my site in just a few minutes. Haven't had much opportunity to test sign ups yet - but testing my own email worked.
I integrated your widget and was then able to click the Sign up button without entering any information into any of the fields. So much potential for this plugin but it's terrible if someone can not enter information and still get signed up (user interface is very poor for someone who wants a professional look).
I'm a developer and cannot use this integration at all with my websites. So I'm going to have to manually integrate Constant Contact.
one star plugin, for sure
I am running Constant Contact API 2.4.1 The plugin is throwing PHP error warnings and the form shows the message "Please select at least 1 list." despite a list being clearly selected. The author indicated three months ago that this would be addressed in a future release but, as yet, seems to be unresolved.
Just now, click form to create new one. Old form disappears from selections. Great.
It's still there, but can only be accessed by editing get URL manually.
Sometimes when I click new, it tells me "the constanct contact plugin needs to be configured" even though it is.
Background colour thing doesn't work. I end up using CSS anyway for most things in this designer.
