I had high hopes, but...
By , for WP 3.9.1

I manage several multisites, along with quite a few others on a few networks. I had high hopes for this plugin. After installing it and attempting to configure it, it failed to do what was promised, wasting a bit of time and frustration.

After I attempted to get this plugin working, I searched for answers and came across a few replies from the author in response to a few very polite inquires. The author was a rude, well, I'm too polite to use that sort of languages here, but it suffices to say that I would not waste my time trying to contact him for support and will not waste any more time trying to figure out this ill-conceived plugin. Poorly written and evidently poorly supported.

Steer clear of this one. A time waster.

Perhaps, in the future, can force Public Display Name to use First Name & Last Name or Nick Name

Straightforward Plugin for User Registration
By , for WP 3.8.1

Although the interface seems a little clunky at first, this plugin makes adding extra user fields really easy once you get the hang of it. It allows you to customize the fields on your WordPress user registration form and also offers some nice value added features like reCAPTCHA, email verification links and basic editing of the generic WordPress welcome e-mail. The plugin also makes some functions available for easily querying your custom user fields on your website.

Although there are few limitations. It works like charm and hats off to developers for giving such a awesome plugin.

A small request., Can you make regular expression validation to accpet only numbers?

Thank you

Fantastic. This really helps
By , for WP 3.6.1

I want to manually approve my user signups to prevent spam. But the way it was, with just the email, I really had no way to tell who was signing up in order to approve them. With the ability to add first name and last name or anything else, I think it is a bit more of a deterrent for spammers and also I can get a feeling of who is signing up.

Ugly,confusing, unfinished, rude
By , for WP 3.6

I am well versed in coding but this plugin is an ugly mess. There are no guides, the plugin creates duplicate field, there is no way to display a field as required(cant add asterisk), so much complexity for something that could be done simpler and neater as shown by other plugins. Also the author of the plugin is rude and unhelpful, uninstalled.

Serves The Purpose and WELL
By , for WP 3.5.1

I am extremely happy with how simple the plugin can be, if only careful attention is paid to detail. It seemed first that Marco the author could be really impatient with support if you read the supports, but if you are willing to sincerely go through the information he has provided he will definitely fix your issue as much as he can.

I do believe that he could make his documentation a little more "dummy" but thats okay!

The Plugin is fantastic and adds extra fields so easily!!! :D

Works well! Would be great to be able to implement it to pages as shortcode. Great work!

This one of the most usefull plugins. I use it in combination with Theme my Login.

You can do most things flawless with this, but there are some disadvantages in the usability... but for free its definetly a 5/5!

Thank you for this great plugin!

Poorly coded
By , for WP 3.5.1

It's always a bit hard to jugde a plugin, which is free. But this one is really an ugly nightmare. I installed it to add an avatar upload thorugh registration, but this feature is broken. So I deinstalled Cimy User Extra Fields and coded it by hand.
Unfortunately their are a lot of database-entries and folders left, after uninstalling.
I would recommend everybody to use Register redux, pie register or code it by hand (which is not that much to do).
