My host had disabled the mail()function and i needed to configure a smtp plugin. I downloaded Cimy Swift SMTP, installed it and set it up within 5 mins...great plugin

Finally a SMTP plugin that just works!!

Having problems with my web hosting company and there permissions on PHP files. My websites were unable to send email, so with this plugin I am FINALLY able to send emails again through an external SMTP server (Google Apps) AND also override the senders name and email address (ie no more wordpress@blogaddress.com). Thank you for a great plugin!
