bxSlider for WordPress integrates the cool responsive content slider "bxSlider jQuery plugin" in your very own WordPress site.
Thanks for this, it was exactly what i was looking for.
Unfortunately today I've updated my wordpress to 3.9 on a website I'm working on and the slider started having some problems with images not showing up or slides not stopping where they should.
Are you familiar with this? Do you think you could provide a fix for this in the near future or I will have to revert back to 3.8 in order to make this work?
bxslider 1.5.1 worked fine, but update 1.5.2 was non-functional. All images loaded in the slider showed up stacked on top of each other and obscured all the other content on the home page. don't do the 1.5.2 update if you actually like the slider function to work.
This plugin does not work in every theme. The themes it does work in it does everything I need.
Any suggestion on how to make it work in every theme.
Ez pont nem ide való, hanem valamelyik fizetős script oldalra. Ugyanis ez a verzió, ha nem fizetsz érte, akkor használhatatlan!!!!
Great plugin. It's responsive, looks slick and is easy to use. It's great that you can exclude the featured image too and just use the gallery shortcode.
This is what I was looking for ;)
Thanks so much!
As a developer it's often hard to find plugins that are simple to use and not riddled with ads. This is especially true when it comes to slider plugins. I have found very few slider plugins that don't want you to buy the "pro" version. Don't get me wrong, I have paid for many sliders but sometimes this is just not an option.
This slider is easy to use, extendable and amazing. I would recommend it if you are looking for a slider plugin that will work without a lot of options and unwanted features.
With that being said, this is NOT recommended if you are looking for a wysiwyg solution without a working knowledge of WordPress and how plugins work.
Lastly, I'd love to see this plugin on github so I can contribute.!
Overall this plugin is OK. It's very easy to install and setup per the instructions provided. However, there's basically no adjusting the slider, so I can't customize it at all. Even for simple things like changing the transition or hiding the navigation. For me that pretty much removes the entire point of us bxSlider in the first place. :(
Please keep working on this. It looks very promising, just needs more work!
Had to use the standalone solution for a custom slideshow build for a project. But had a need to have a responsive touch enabled slider on another project, said what the heck, let me search for a wp plugin. Replacing the gallery shortcode is great, its responsive and fits into my preferred responsive framework, and pretty seamless to integrate overall.
And does what I need. Plugin is open for feature requests.
