WordPress Website Security Protection. Website security protection against: XSS, RFI, CRLF, CSRF, Base64, Code Injection and SQL Injection hacking...
Easy installation providing you follow the set up steps accordingly and seek support when in doubt or encountering a problem.I was extremely impressed with the friendly, prompt support service provided for both the free and paid versions of this plugin. And the support forum has a wealth of knowledge for troubleshooting most problems. Highly recommend this plugin and wouldn't set up any WordPress site without.
Install it, and setup just in a few click. Very intuitive. The best security plugin I have ever used.
Had a hacked site, crawling with malware. BPS saved my life without having to do a complete re-install (which I could not afford). After installing it i just kept watching the error log, looking for the URL's the hackers were trying, and cleaned all the infected files. Timthumb was the culprit in the beginning...since install of BPS, the site has been safe for both users and admins!
BulletProof Security was very easy installation and it gives me peace of mind, my sites have hit hard lately so this one the measures I'm taking to slow these hacker down.
Thanks for this plugin. It helps.
I wonder if the login controls should be split into a separate plugin?
These guys not only have an excellent security plugin, they are extremely helpful with trouble shooting. They seem to know WordPress inside out, with all aspects (I am using Multisite) and when I have problems, they respond very fast on the forums.
Great work Folks!
I had a problem with my 301 redirects, which turned out to be on my Host's end of things. BPS support helped me figure it out, helped with the right redirect coding, and was fast. These guys are setting the standards for what support should be on WordPress plugins.
The ideal complement to WordPress in order to reinforce security.
Enhance your htaccess.
There is certainly a lot to take in while setting this up. It's not all that complicated, but if you take the time to read about what it is doing, there is a lot of information there.
I did find that there are other plugins that can complicate things.
I have gotten a couple of notices that have directed me to have WP Super cache update its Mod Rewrite rules. But it gave me a link right to the page to get that done.
I also had a warning that the readme.html file was not protected, but did not offer a solution. It ended up being a conflict with Better WP Security (Wordfence has been suggested as a better choice).
All in all, it seems like a powerful solution. I am most impressed with the level of support that is offered in the support forum. Kudos to AITpro for that.
