Allows group members to receive email notifications for group activity and forum posts instantly or as daily digest or weekly summary.
If you have a serious Buddypress site you should consider this plugin.
This is the go-to plugin for email subscription management to BuddyPress groups. Unfortunately, there is not very much documentation accompanying it, and many queries about functionality and customization go unanswered on the forums.
I installed this plugin with the hopes of having users receive all forum posts unless they adjust their forum settings otherwise. I never even saw the screen shot for the selections.
I'm disappointed to see the last post here is from April with no response.
Unfortunately I'm not getting any notifications from this plugin. In my case my groups don't have any forums so I'm trying to get activity notifications set up. Hope to see this fixed soon. Thank you!
Hello! I installed this plugin, but it's not working:
When I click on "follow" forum topics, I do receive notifications, but only because I've selected that from an existing forum topic. I don't receive any notification when someone replies to my forum post, or just after me. Furthermore, I don't receive any daily/ weekly summary, nor do I receive an email where there are new topics. Any solutions?
Probably THE plugin you must install on a buddypress network, if you want people to take on discussions. Without an email notifications, it would be very difficult to have any traffic.
A chance : Buddypress Group Email Subscription is there ! :)
Latest versions of WP and BP installed, and whilst this plugin works for the most part, Daily & Weekly Digests are broken - they get sent, but have no meaningful content.
I use your great plugin for my WP 3.4.2 and BP 1.6.1 web. I don't know why but the layer function does not work fine enough. Please take a look to my screenshots:
1. This screenshot 1, parts of the bottom cannot be seen
2. This screenshot 2 is the way I like, but curiously enough only for the groups above
You can test it here (you've to login first, sorry)
With my best to you,
