This plugin will check your posts, comments and other content for broken links and missing images, and notify you if any are found.
I have several WordPress sites including one large one and run a tight ship as far as links go, but was still surprised with how many broken ones this found. It's now on my essential plugins list.
Does what it says on the tin. Very useful for moving a blog from one place to another because of the bulk replace feature.
Bad. Don't use.
Don't use this plugin because it's broken itself!! I did a bulk action and my after that I get the installation process of my site. It crashed my site!!
Broken Link Checker used to work great then... I updated it and so much for checking for broken links. I followed all the suggestions listed here in the help forum but still cannot use the plugin. Oh well...
Just spent 3 hours trying to undo the massive damage this POS caused my site content.
No plugin, ever, should automatically change links/text/content on a site without express permission for every change.
Pretty much any external site link have been silently changed to the default media path for the site.
Detected over 200 broken 404 not found images. I clicked on their links and they still open, and are actively used in the posts. So i do not know the function of this plugin.
The one plugin that seems to make its way to every site I build.
This plugin will overwhelm your server with HTTP requests, bringing it to a complete standstill.
Major platforms like WPengine, in fact, ban this plugin for this very reason: http://support.wpengine.com/disallowed-plugins/
