Imports posts, comments, and categories (blogger tags) from a Blogger blog then migrates authors to WordPress users.
Successfully imported my blogger blog, but I had a lot of source code examples in pre blocks, which were messed up by the import. They lost their class attributes needed for my syntax highlighter, and it really had trouble when my pre blocks contained html or xml, despite it being properly HTML encoded inside my pre-blocks, it either got removed, or put back in without the escaping.
I also noticed that drafts in blogger became published
Also, would be nice to have an option to import the images as well.
49 blog entries were easily imported into WordPress 3.5.1. Posts that were in draft mode (not yet published) on Blogger were published on WP. Images linked elsewhere show up. Not a big deal to add feature images, which didn't exist on Blogger. HTML preserved for the most part.
Did what I wanted it to do -- imported the text. Thanks!
Easily imported approx 600 posts from my blog on Blogspot.com. But it made me manually have to add a new "user" on my WordPress site.
Had to change from www2.abc.com to http://www.abc.com in the code. I did more work to import than the importer itself.
Everything was imported correctly over to a newly created WP site. Thanks!
