The Automatic Youtube Video Posts Plugin automatically creates posts for YouTube videos from any YouTube account.
I thought it would fail because of all the bad reviews but this is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't give me a typical playlist format but the videos it pulls into my site automatically have all the text and give me lots of great content on individual pages. So now I don't have to cut and paste for all eternity. Just upload videos, annotate and wait for update.
can't see video post and not support for all Hosting and created independent custom field if that we disable plugin all post will gone!
and not good support.
but still waiting for good news.
thanks for you great plugin btw.
Not working at all.
Blank pages, not importing. Useless.
This plugin had a small few hiccups, I was able to tweak my theme and get is all working. I even added a comments section to my them to show the comments. Thanks for the great plugin.
Hello, how the SEO works with this plugin?? any update of the plugin?? thank you
So far it hasn't automatically added any of the thumbnails for the videos as the featured image. I have to go in and manually do this for every post. Kinda defeats the purpose of automation, no?
Reached out to developer and sent screen shots. Got answers like you inputted something wrong. DUH .... Could never get it to work. Don't bother Explained I was a sports writer and not technical. Called and left messages ... Don't recommend at all
Some videos were double posted and it couldn't get the full video description.
I like the idea and basically it is working great (importing, resetting and so on). But the author is doing some unusual things like setting the Youtube Video ID to the post's thumbnail ID meta field. Thumbs / images are fucked up completely for the youtube posts generated by this plugin. No idea why this was done that way.
Code quality is poor, it doesn't conform to WP code standard, and the code just looks really untrustworthy.
But, the basic idea of importing youtube videos as separate posts is probably the best way of building a Youtube plugin (or whatever feeds you would like to import.) And I hope the many issues will be fixed.
