CP Appointment booking calendar
By , for WP 3.5.1

Hi 5 to Codepeople.

The plug-in is really powerful and easy to customize. As for the support.. A member stood by me during 3 days to solve an issue I had. I'm now using their appointment booking calendar plug-in on my client's web.

5 stars are well deserved, for both the product and the support.
And concerning the paypal feature in the free version... Guys, what else would you use? :D

Perfect for a photo session booking form.
By , for WP 3.5.1

I'm using it in a photo session booking form where customers can pick the available times to book a session and pay in advance to confirm the it. The plugin fits very well for this purpose, specifically the calendar area for entering the available times are defined and the automatic availability counter that blocks a time after reaching to the maximum capacity specified. I also received free support for changing the calendar size and colors, thank you, I appreciate that.

excellent admin interface

The calendar in the admin area takes a few seconds in the load process but once is loaded its fast ajax interface excellent, well done. The (email-based) support provided is also efficient.

Shady business practices mar a plugin with potential
By ,

I thought this was a great plugin, until I tried to figure out how to turn off PayPal forwarding. I spent a day wrestling with it. I then found out - it is not at all obvious in the plugin, and I'm an experienced developer - that this "feature" of PayPal redirection can only be disabled on the pro version.

Codepeople seem to think that paying to *remove* features is a way to make people buy their products. Instead, it's dishonest, especially since they're not at all upfront about it. Codepeople will never get any of my money, and I'll be sure to warn others off their products too.

good plugin and well supported
By , for WP 3.5.1

I like the administration calendar, easy to understand and errors free. The bookings list may be improved with more features, for example buttons to manage the bookings without having to go to the calendar. It's a good plugin and well supported.

huge improvements
By , for WP 3.5.1

Already tried an old version and it doesn't convinced me due to lack of features but I've just re-downloaded it for a second chance and found huge improvements and new features, now I'll keep it installed in my WP, please keep the good work and add more features.

Booking Calendar for accepting online bookings
By Plugin Author, for WP 3.5.1

Appointment Booking Calendar has been designed for accepting online bookings through PayPal. It lets you to define the available time-slots and to specify your PayPal account details for receiving payments. There are also other versions (some of them are commercial versions) that can work with a different booking process.

Must use pay paypal
By , for WP 3.5.1

I had a use that didn't need payment and was pissed off when i was unable to go any further and pissed off. In less then 12 hours they had appended the description, so i am changing my rating and review. The description had said can use paypal, but after configuring i found out you must use paypal or pay for the free version.

I think DWBooster claiming this plugin is “free” somewhat disingenuous. It cannot be used unless PayPal activated, for which DWBooster are charging 5% commission. I do not believe that DWBooster cannot make a tiny code to change the PHP thereby allow users to effectively use the “free” plugin. If DWBooster are unable to bear to allow genuine free use of this plugin perhaps DWBooster should withdraw this plugin from WordPress.org?
