Tested it by having Anti-spam redirect the spams blocked towards my mail. Result : 28 spams were blocked, not a single one posted to my site. Seems to work perfectly.

The plugin is just awesome!!! Previously I was getting around 30 to 35 spam comments in 1-2 days. It was reduced to 5-6 and after updating the plugin to the latest version today, I'm not even getting a single spam. I highly recommend this plugin.

After days of playing with other anti-spam plugins that failed to stop all the spam getting through, I came upon Anti-spam.

Loaded the plugin.

All spam stopped.

Job done.

We were getting hit from numerous (15+) spam messages a day. We figured this was an acceptable number to just handle manually, but quickly grew tired of taking the time to moderate these comments, marking them as trash.

We tried various CAPTCHA plugins but none were very graceful. From difficult-to-read CAPTCHA strings to stark, unstyled "You have entered an invalid CAPTCHA" message, none of the CAPTCHA plugins we implemented really worked for us.

Then I found this plugin. It's so simple in its implementation that it's almost laughable. There's beauty in what it does, though. It's not overly complicated, it doesn't affect the aesthetic of the site AT ALL, and most importantly, it just works.

I've had this plugin installed for over a week and have not received a single spam comment. I give it five stars all day long.

Just as a test, I went and toggled the value that sends spam comments to the site administrator. No less than 30 minutes later, I had received a message that was spam. I've since toggled the value back to "false" - but it's sure nice to know the plugin is working. :)

I still get a lot of spam,
Maybe is not working for me as i have a different theme modified.

Howeve the ideea is great.

It works and you don't have to do anything. Just install and activate and the spam stops.

This plugin really solve my comment spam problem. With akismet, I am getting about 2-3 spam per day. With this, so far, I got zero spam

We run http://www.TheTravelingTwosome.com as a WordPress Site. As you can imagine, being the home base website for all of our activities from our TV Show to our book publications, this website has a very high volume of traffic. Unfortunately, it also produced nearly 1,500 spam comments per day. Managing these comments was becoming a full time job. We were looking for "the perfect" comment spam solution and THIS PLUGIN HAS BEEN IT! The user sees no difference in the comment form (no captcha, etc.) and we have (so far) received ZERO spam comments since implementing this plugin! I believe this is because of the logical method Anti-Spam uses in ensuring you are not bombarded with spam comments. A brilliant idea in combating comment spam, this plugin practically guarantees a spam free website!

One of my blogs - a personal one with few followers or traffic - started getting about 10 spam comments a day and I got fed up with deleting them. I added this and although it's only been a day, no spam has come through. Long may it continue!

A dozen wordpress installations and i was snowed under with spam comments. Now I have zero :big smile:
