An easy-to-use community calendar and event list that allows authorized users to visually manage events into custom categories.
This thing is sweet.
The BIG benefit is the shortcodes that let me create listings of events based on categories. That's really fantastic.
Great Calendar !!! Well done...
But the first thing i've noticed is that you can't delete an instance of a recurrent object in the calendar ?
This if for a sport team... training every week from .. to ...
But with the holidays i would like to erase some items... so i have to split things etc...
Would be nice if this feature is available.
Otherwise... TOP CALENDAR !!
Seems to work as intended on 3.6.1
I've been looking for a calendar plugin since last week and at last I found one that is user-friendly, can be customized easily and visually attractive.
Usefull plugin. Great idea allowing displaying a mini calender in the widget area. Upcoming events are also nicely displayed.
This really is a nice, easy to use calendar for WordPress. I highly recommend it to anyone that is going to have customers that are mostly PC or pad user oriented. But if you have a lot of iPhone users this might not work. Doesn't really fit the screen of my iphone and when you click on an event the drop down event tab goes outside the area of the screen and I couldn't find an easy way to close it without clicking the back button.
Kudos to the author though for the work done on this. It's a nice calendar.
Your extension is just amazing !
And it will be even more amazing if you allowed to assign one event to more than one category I think.
Does exactly what a calender should do! Simple and elegant.
One little comment: the admin should be able to hide the remark about the Magic Quote setting in the backend.
It's an impressive calendar. The appearance and functionality are great.
As with anything relying on Ajax, there are some small usability points. When entering a new event, be careful not to click outside the event screen; if you do that by mistake, as I did a couple times, the screen will close (just like a lightbox photo pop-up), and you'll lose the data you entered. Also, if you have a vertically short screen (I was using my laptop), you'll want to have the screen maximized, or you will have trouble getting to all the fields on the screen and saving.
I also noticed a common PHP foible - if you use an apostrophe in a field, when it's saved you'll have a slash along with the apostrophe. That's probably a one-line code change to fix, and I'll chalk it up to its newness.
All in all, very good stuff!
