Easy responsive video embeds via URL (like WordPress) or Shortcode. Optionally show them as thumbnails and open in Colorbox. Customize as you wish.
Liked the plugin until you implemented beg-popups for donations. I understand you want to monetize your plugin. Fair enough, just don't do it with popups that appear outside of the plugin admin. I do NOT want to see your popup on other screens/panels. It interferes with the settings. Also, your popup is NOT responsive and there is no way to close it when it rudely appears on a mobile device.
Always works great! Thank you Nico for a wonderful plugin. ;-)
This plugin solved all the issues i was having with my 3 various video sources & 2 player sizes, and made embedding so much easier for my contributors.
This plugin works great. I am only using it with Youtube videos for now, but it's as easy as installing the plugin, and slapping in the shortcode. Done.
I am using it in thumbnail mode with jquery colorbox. Works flawlessly on my own custom theme framework. Fully responsive too.
Great job on this!
even accepts the start / end parameters with the video ID for youtube, perfect, just what I was looking for.
usage example: in field video ID add
&end= after the video ID where the start and end parameters take seconds:
so in the exmample 0ryHXT3f5QM is the video ID, 127 is the start second, i.e. 2 min 7 sec into the video, and 279 is the end second, i.e. 4 min 39 sec into the videol
I've only used this plugin for about 5 minutes, but I have a really good feeling about it. It did what I needed it to do on the first attempt, with no messing around and I look forward to using it more.
We were looking some some simplecity to let our users share videos easier (which they do a lot)
This makes is SO MUCH easier!!
5-Stars and we contribute a little cash :-)
It works!!!!! Thank you
Not a fan of the way it seems to strip out the YouTube information out of the video.
IE - the direct link, volume, quality etc is all gone. It's like its streaming the YouTube video through it's own player.
Only seemed to happen on my desktop, all the usual stuff was still there on iPhone.
Apart from that it worked fine, but trying something else instead.
