Adminimize is a WordPress plugin that lets you hide 'unnecessary' items from the WordPress backend and many many more ...
There is no way this plugin is ready for 3.6beta.
I don't mind a plugin that is buggy as long as I can work with the creator to get it up and running but claming that your plugin is ready for 3.6b when it clearly does not function on 3.5 just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
If you just google adminimize does not save settings, you'll see what I mean.
I hope the author gets around to fixing the bugs and more importantly, I hope he stops claming that it is compatible with 3.6b
wanna locking down every single part of a editable page?
in collaboration with the firefox plugin Firebug you can find whatever part to hide.
ti permette di scegliere cosa visualizzare e cosa no nel lato admin a seconda del gruppo utenti.
è molto completo, e sente tutti i contenuti personalizzati.
ha anche una interfaccia intuitiva e semplice.
ed è in italiano!
So glad this plugin was made, definitely should be included by default in core.
English translation was a bit hard to understand in a few places. I was confused by "Possible nomination for ID or class" in the options. This actually just means the name of the element you want to hide. So if you want to hide an element that isn't included with this plugin you can specify it by putting a descriptive name on the left text box and the actual CSS ID or class on the right box like:
this is brilliant - this should have been in wordpress by default. You can tweak and configure everything you need in a quick and simple way.
The Plugin can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning depending on how many Plugins you already have installed, but it works perfectly.
