Lets you edit the WordPress admin menu. You can re-order, hide or rename menus, add custom menus and more.
My menu in admin was becoming a sheer nightmare. So many plugin developers label a menu item with simple text like Gallery .. doesn't help if you have 2 galleries and they are both listed as gallery on the menu... This resolves that issue alone by letting you rename them to the proper plugin name.
The other great thing the ability to move the menu items to areas where your more comfortable with them.
All that for free...
However, the idea that I can move submenu items to the top, and vice versa, thrills me with the pro version and just as soon as I have a bit of money, I'll support the developer by going pro..
An AMAZING plugin no one should be without.
Needed to hide obsolete menuitems for client site - brilliant - works!!
Works great - simple as that.
This is awesome. Tried the free version and ended up just purchasing the Business plugin because I could see the value as soon as I opened it.
It's not pretty as an interface but it does the job and then some. Throwing in the toolbar editor? Genius.
Works like a charm, though at first I didn't understand it - 20 mins later I was a pro.
Good on you Janis, great little plugin that I highly recommend!
Does what it is supposed to do. I have minimal plugins active other than woo commerce and some plugins for it.
Great job on this plugin! Using it on a multi-site setup to limit what network sites can access, and it is spot on exactly what I needed. Clean, simple, easy to understand and use layout, with a great level of control in the permissions. Thank you so much for this!!
This is one of the single most greatest plugins when giving clients access to the admin panel...it makes it so easier to prevent them from breaking stuff! Thank you!
I had used Free version for some time.
What sealed the Pro Version deal for me was the recent updated of adding menu items with URL's that display in iFrame!!!
This takes out all the work and relieves me of the work I had searched for trying to create a plugin to display a special menu item with iFrame content for my clients. Now I just add the menu, punch in my URL and select iFrame, and BOOM!
The ToolBar add-on for the Business edition is just great because I have WPMU Ultimate Branding plugin to assist with this but it's not as simple and it's an extra functionality I can get rid of now because I have this menu editing in one place with roles and capability features.
This is definitely one of my favorite and most used backend plugins!
The pro version does exactly what I need. Control on a per user or user-role basis, what admin backend menu items are visible or not.
The Toolbar Plugin that came for free with my business licence round it off quite nicely.
